Aeon Lighting with other joint companies cooperate with Taipei City Hall and Taiwan Financial department and Taiwan energy Institute. Replace 52 pieces traditional mercury street lamps into LED street lamps on Nan-Yang Street, 228 Memorial Park and Fu-Zou Street. This is the first LED street lamp replacement project in Taipei, Taiwan. Taipei Governor, minister of Department of Finance, chief of the Energy institute all came together for the opening ceremony.
Aeon Lighting with our business alliances, Lustrous, Epistar, etc. Developed high efficacy LED street lamps to provide Taipei City Hall an alternative solution to replaced traditional mercury lamps. The site of this project is in western area of Taipei, the center of the mass transportation including Taiwan Railroad, MRT system, Taiwan Rapid Railroad, Shuttle Bus service. Nan-Yang Street also named cramming street for students.
On the Nan-Yang Street, Aeon Lighting’s 150 watts LED street lamps now replaced all the traditional mercury street lamps. Taipei governor said, due to the global warming, we need to find out other ways to saving energy and decrease producing carbon dioxide. Citizens should respond to government’s policy. Government sector will also searching alternative energy saving resources and apply it into public works.
